Dancin’ Oxford is back with a FREE outdoor event. Join us for an afternoon live performances from three visiting professional dance companies with zumba classes throughout the afternoon. We offer a huge thanks to Hawk Dance Theatre for stepping in at short notice as Joli Vyann have had to pull out.
JAMES WILTON DANCE on its 4th visit to Oxford, this time with iRobot, a riveting duet performed on a trampoline. Times 12.50 – 1.10pm, 2.05 – 2.25pm & 4.00 – 4.20pm
Celebrating Pride month, HAWK DANCE THEATRE present A Moment; a dynamic and emotive male duet exploring a meeting and departure between two strangers. Times 1.25 – 1.40pm, 2.40 – 2.55pm & 4.30 – 4.45pm. Trailer Below…
And storming Hip Hop from JUST US DANCE THEATRE‘s Born To Protest. Times:12.15 – 12.40pm & 3.25 – 3.50pm Trailer Below…
The mini ZUMBA sessions are at 1.10- 1.20pm, 1.4 – 1.50pm, 2.25 – 2.35pm, 2.55 – 3.05pm & 4.20 – 4.30pm.
Why not bring a picnic and make an afternoon of it.
10 May 2021 – currently we have to restrict numbers so you are advised to arrive early for a performance. This may of course change. Check back for details. The event will be run with full covid secure measures in place to ensure your safety.
We continue to follow the government guidelines on COVID-19 and look forward to welcoming you back safely.
To help you enjoy the festival safely, we have put the following measures in place:
- limited audience capacities within each performance zone
- marked-out audience areas with social distancing
- multiple hand sanitation stations around the site
The festival is entirely outdoors, however face coverings are encouraged.
Please do not attend if you:
- believe you may be infected with COVID-19
- have experienced symptoms in the last 10 days
- have been in close proximity to anyone who has experienced symptoms in the last 10 days
- have been instructed to self-isolate
