ON-LINE Creative Dance for Older People & People with Parkinsons Week 6
May 1, 2020 to September 30, 2020
Join MuMo artists Roosa Leimu-Brown (dancer), Louisa Dalton (dancer) and Nia Williams (musician) in a 30-mins inspiring music and movement session. This is the sixth of seven videos to be produced this summer (more to come in the Autumn). For the last 6 weeks a new 30-mins You Tube video has been posted on this site. Each session has a different theme to explore – this video is part 3 of 4 sessions based on Pride & Prejudice. These creative dance sessions are aimed particularly at older people (including people with Parkinson’s) but are also suitable for any age.
Given that these online activities are physical in nature, you participate at your own risk and should only do those activities that you consider safe for your own body and the space that you are working in. Before you participate, please consider if you have enough clear space available to you, which is free of obstacles, enabling you to move in safely; that the floor surface is suitable; and that you have footwear appropriate for that surface. As we are working remotely, we are unable to offer any personal feedback. Please warm-up and cool-down appropriately as necessary (before and after the session), and please feel free to stop and/or modify the exercises as you feel necessary.
