£10, discounts £7, £1 off for Festival Pass Holders
Every year Moving With The Times, features three exciting dance companies offering new work that is often explosive, moving and thought provoking. This year is no different.
Burning House is a high physical contemporary dance piece that explores human mortality from Amy Foskett Dance. See trailer below.
‘Sanket’ is a Sanskrit word that that translates to ‘to give direction’. Choreographed by Anuradha Chaturvedi, the Artistic Director of Drishti Dance, the work is a contemporary expression of Kathak dance, inspired by the concept of Astadikpala or Eight Guardians of Directions. It is an exploration of compass directions, imagined as live elemental forces, embodying personal experiences and journey of human consciousness.
In a time of tick boxes, labels and separation Thomas Page Dances‘ Commonality looks at the parts of life that everyone has in common.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who would like to build more confidence in watching and talking about dance, or anyone who already enjoys talking about dance!
NB: There will also be an Introductory Dance Audience Club session (open to ALL dance festival show ticket holders) at 6pm at Pegasus Theatre (duration 60 mins). If you’d like to attend this one-off pre-show session, please e-mail Miranda at email@example.com.
