Fabulous Beast Dance Theatre
A tale of love, betrayal and revenge.
James returns home for his father’s funeral having been away for eleven years. He is late and misses the burial by a day and a half. He becomes embroiled in the lives of ten local inhabitants: the politician, his wife and their son, the policeman and his wife, a farmer, a doctor, a merchant, his daughter and a young woman from the east.
Ireland’s most innovative and talented artist Michael Keegan-Dolan and his award-winning company Fabulous Beast Dance Theatre present James Son of James – an engrossing story of accidental heroism, hero worship, sadness, love, power, betrayal and revenge, told through image, dance, song and outrageous humour by eleven extraordinary, international performers.
For the past ten years Fabulous Beast has been building an international reputation as one of the most daring and highly original dance theatre companies in the world.
