‘H’ Patten and company perform The Cotton Tree Passage, an extra-ordinary personal account of the search for identity, the journey home. A pilot for Ritual – the Never Ending Journey, it is a moving collaboration depicting the spiritual journey of the ‘African spirit’ through the passage of slavery and the emotions of the ‘lone dancer’. A Contemporary African Caribbean dance-theatre piece it will take audiences to that higher realm where spirituality transcends religion.
